Sophie Mathys

PhD / Head Regulatory & Quality

Sophie graduated in biology at the University of Lausanne and completed her PhD in the field of intestinal microbiology at the ETHZ, before spending more than 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry. She held roles in Regulatory Affairs in early development as well as post-marketing phases. As a Quality Assurance Manager and Qualified Person, she also ensured compliance of products and processes to the regulations governing medicinal products. Sophie joined PharmaBiome in 2019 focusing on bringing the company’s innovative candidate products along the regulatory path towards use in patients.
