Lukas has extensive scientific expertise in microbiology, coupled with experience in manufacturing defined microbial consortia and navigating the regulatory landscape of clinical trials. Lukas holds a PhD in Microbiology and Biotechnology from the University of Bonn and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Jeremiah Faith laboratory at the Icahn School of Medicine in New York, where he advanced a defined microbial consortium into a Phase 1 clinical trial. At PharmaBiome, Lukas leverages his expertise in microbiology and manufacturing of defined consortia to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach from R&D to GMP production.
